The Holyoke Community Charter School (HCCS) received a charter from the Massachusetts State Board of Education in 2000. As a public charter school, HCCS provides a tuition-free, non-selective education to Holyoke’s school children.

Enrollment at HCCS is open to all resident school children of Holyoke on a space available basis. If spaces remain after the lottery is conducted, children from surrounding communities may apply for admission.

The mission of the Parent Connection is to create an inviting school environment for all of our students, staff, families and visitors.
We are committed to celebrating our diversity, supporting our hard working students and staff, and recognizing the many accomplishments made throughout the school year.

The Parent Connection also raises money through a variety of fundraisers. The money raised is used to purchase supplies, provide incentives, and offer free family events and activities.
